Our Cottage Chardonnay has been on lees for four months with regular lees stirring as like our Barrel fermented Chardonnay. This has brought an increased depth and complexity within the structure of the wine. Lovely purity of fruit, nectarine, citrus, grapefruit and white peach with a minerally edge. Elegance and power with a long clean finish. Great with seafood and lighter summer dishes.
....Only seriously cool climates can provide convincing dividends with unoaked chardonnay, and this is a prime example.
