Aromas of strawberries, raspberries, watermelon and a hint of musk with a soft savoury fine palate. Being kept on lees for six months has produced a wine with a textured mouthfeel, fine tannins and with cool climate acidity makes for a wine perfect for the warmer seasons.

This wine is all about Chardonnay fruit. A small amount of barrel fermented Chardonnay is added to increase complexity & add structure to the wine. Stirring the wine during maturation has increased the mouthfeel of the wine. Lashings of apple, citrus, grapefruit,cashew nut and spice combine into a silky wine that shows finesse, intensity and length. A wine that can be enjoyed equally with food or simply by itself.
100% Barrel fermented using wild yeasts, this wine builds on our previous Chardonnays. 2015 was a stellar vintage and has produced a wine of purity, intensity and elegance. 25% new French hogsheads interweave with our natural Macedon acidity and fruit from our 30+ year vineyard. Grapefruit, pear, white peach & citrus flavours lead to a sustained finish.

Lane’s End L’autre (The other ) Pinot Noir is our second label Pinot Noir.
This wine is 100% destemmed and then made similarly to our first label Pinot Noir (wild yeast ferment-open tank) but without any whole bunch input. It is usually on skins for around 20 days.The wine is then matured for six months in French oak barriques prior to bottling. This is very much about the Pinot fruit and is made for immediate enjoyment but will cellar well.
Deeply coloured, a highly fragrant perfumed bouquet of red berries, dark plum, savoury spice and forest, earthy notes. The palate has very fine tannins with an intense linear drive, power and length.
