We are unfortunately in the position where when you don't have something, everyone wants it!! This is our plight with our Pinot Noir 2013. This wine is showing lovely blackcurrant, strawberry, cherry & cassis aromas with peppery savoury spicy notes and an ultra smooth textural mouthfeel. Great weight and length to the palate. Drink with red meat, pasta, BBQ or casual dining- this wine has always been great with food or just by itself- very hard to put it down!
A fragrant, elegant and complex wine with a bouquet of cherry, plum, strawberry, spice and earthy notes. The texture is very silky with a palate of considerable depth and length that expands on the finish. This wine will develop added complexity over the next 3-5 years for those who wish to cellar.
Made with an eye to our love of Chablis Chardonnay, the grapes for this wine were picked earlier than our other Chardonnays and matured on gross lees for ten months before bottling. The resultant wine has the typical mineral flinty characteristics of this style, with grapefruit, pear and citrus aromas, a fine boned acidic line that leads to an extremely long finish. A lovely textural, clean mouthfeel.
Our Cottage Chardonnay has been on lees for four months with regular lees stirring as like our Barrel fermented Chardonnay. This has brought an increased depth and complexity within the structure of the wine. Lovely purity of fruit, nectarine, citrus, grapefruit and white peach with a minerally edge. Elegance and power with a long clean finish. Great with seafood and lighter summer dishes.
100% Barrel fermented, this wine displays a great balance between fruit, acid and oak.The nose displays grapefruit, nectarine, white peach, and citrus that weaves its way around oak and acid. The palate is fine, but focused, textured but taut delivering an elegant sustained finish.
