Lane's End Pinot 2020 is now released together with our L'autre Pinot Noir 2021
The 2020 vintage was delayed to allow further complexity of the wine to be evident upon release.
A striking wine with red and black cherry, satsuma plum, savoury spices together with a meaty earthy core. Lovely soft tannins
together with a long finish.
Bright acidity on the backbone together with 50% new oak and maturation for 18 months will give the wine a long life .
The L'autre Pinot Noir 2021 has a mix of estate fruit as well as fruit from the Cope-Williams 40+ year old vineyard.
A lovely velvety smooth wine with perfumed red berry, spice & earthy notes . Fine savoury tannins run through the palate with a sustained finish.
We have also released toe 2022 vintages of our Cottage Chardonnay and Rose
Both these wines display a beautiful freshness with very lifted aromatics, textural mouthfeel and length.
This year , 50% of the Rose was matured for 6 months in seasoned French barrels which adds to the wines complexity but with freshness coming also from 50% in tank.
